    Hogue 'shrouded' J-Frame Grips?

My father has a set of Hogue J-Frame grips that actually acts as a hammer shroud of sorts. The grips are extended up on both sides of the hammer, preventing snagging but allowing the hammer to still be cocked. However I haven't been able to find these grips sold anywhere. Anyone ever see these and anyone know where I could pick up a set?

Definately not what you are looking for but certainly out-of-the-ordinary.

WHITE!!! I want the black, pebbled, no-slip finish!

I know the grip you're talking about, but didn't think it was Hogue.....(??)

I think Bianchi once marketed the grips you described; haven't seen any in years . . .

Here is one thing I remembered

I've never actually seen one in real life though.
    It's an "add on" shroud.

Never gone much for shrounds tho I can their value for pocket use. When I carried my std SP-101 - in OWB rig, can't say spur was ever a problem at all.

That gun was used almost exclusively DA but - always have like hammer there even if only to be able to revolve cyl with it closed, for whatever reason, maybe to index a specific round.

I had a Colt Detective that had grips like that. They worked great. I think they were Pachmeyers though.

I'll try to get some pictures. I thought they said Hogue but I could be mistaken. I've never seen another set like them and would much like to own some.

No, they are old Bianchi; not made anymore. I had a set awhile back. They work just fine... if you can find one.
