Anything added to your arsenal is a plus. So long as you feel confident in it and it works well for you. I'm sure you are comfortable with it, otherwise you wouldn't have added it to your CCW`repertoire! You're headed in the right direction no doubt. Keep up the good work! Good luck with it all.
Very nice.

Looks great. You have a true classic there.
I lucked into a pre model number a while back. It was shipped in 1950.

Yessir! That's enough to wake me up here at my desk and get my attention. What a gorgeous revolver! What an great barrel length! What a great 50s vintage Smith & Wesson. I'm sure it has a great action.
Such a .357 Magnum revolver wouldn't be difficult to carry with the right holster beneath a suit coat at least, perhaps in other ways too. It will easily deliver six potent shots with accuracy and with comfort to the shooter. I'd a whole sight rather make allowances to carry such a revolver than a shrunken flea-weight .357 Magnum.
Pistola's is nice too. May be the brother to my brother-in-law's 1950-shipped 3.5-inch .357.
Model 27's and Model 28's, pre, post, whatever; in all their guises, the N-Frame Smith & Wessons are the greatest and best .357 Magnum revolvers ever made. I have a Model 27 6-inch and and a Colt Python 6-inch, both from the 70's, so can say that.
Nice Piece! I really like old S&W revolvers. Every time I go to the gun shop I scan the cases for traded in S&W revolvers. I just picked up a well worn model 10 that was made in 1959. It's pretty pitiful looking but shoots well. I'm going to refinish it and use it as a truck gun.
Nice rig. Is that your CC holster ? I'm having Starsky and Hutch flashbacks for some weird reason. What was that pimps name ?
Seriously, not my flavor but you do have a nice M27 there.![]()
Beautiful revolver.
I carry my 3 1/2" 27-2in a Tucker HF1. It's great.
I found an unfired 6" 27-2 this week. It's in my safe.
