    Bersa

Just put in my paperwork for my permit should have it in 3-4 weeks... Looking at buying a Bersa 380/380cc or 9uc... Have not decided... Price is good, Lifetime service contract and good reviews...

    Any Thoughts!

    Bersa's are good guns

I like the UC 9, and am considering it as my next purchase. The only downfall is mags are hard to find.

I am very interested in the Thunder 9 after looking at one several weeks ago. If you happen to get one of those please let me know how you like it. I may buy one before I hear from you though.

I agree ,Bersa is a good product. I have a .32 police model; it's accurate and reliable.

Never had a problem with the Bersa's. Currently have a thunder 380 and a thunder 40.

I've had a thunder .380 for some time and have lots of rounds downrange. Very nice weapon! However, if I were buying a weapon for cc I would buy the UC 9mm. You are getting so much more firepower with 9mm. Even the best JHP ammo in .380 cannot approach the stopping power of the top end 9mm JHP rounds.

I own a Thunder 380 and Tunder Plus 380 (15 round mag) and use them both for carry. After 500 rounds, I haven't an issue with them feeding or firing. Accurate and reliable.

Mags are expensive though, can figure out why.

I have extra mags for the Firestorm .22 on their way to me and mags for the compact 9 coming soon. They weren't all that expensive, particularly when you think about how little you spent for the pistol AND extra mag - still a whole lot of bang for your buck! Try this for spare mags:

I don't see how you could be disappointed with the Thunder 380, or the CC 380. I have the Thunder 380 in duo tone.

For the money, reliablility, and accuracy at distances you will use it I can't think of anything else that comes close. Good luck.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I have a thunder .380 duo-tone as well, although I haven't put very many rounds through it yet I really like the gun a lot. I have pretty big hands and I can still control and shoot the gun very well.

I have a Bersa Thunder 380 CC, and I've got about 100 rounds through it. Mine will not chamber Fiocchi ammunition. Forty rounds in, the thing turned into a brick on me. It turns out that the disconnector spring for the magazine safety fell out of its groove. I suspect that this happened when I was trying to unjam the Fiocchi. I fixed the spring (it's under the hand-grip on the right side), and it fired fine after that. Despite the initial problem, I'm optimistic about this gun. I'd buy it again.

Great gun. I have a Bersa Thunder .380 CC and have fired many, many rounds out of it and have had no problems. I carry it often and have confidence in it. You will not be disappoionted.

I have the Bersa 380 CC and like it a lot. It has features you would expect on a larger gun and yet, you can easily carry it in your pocket.
    1) 8 +1 rounds
    2) Loaded chamber indicator
    3) Slide lock
    4) DA / SA
    5) Safety/Decocker
    6) Easy field stripping
    7) Great looking
    8) Great price
