    Smile Picked up another "classic carry gun" yesterday

    A new to me S&W M36



    Made about 1966 I believe , looks to have been handled more than shot.




    Cost me $365 plus shipping and a transfer fee.

    1966 sounds about right. The "diamond" stocks were discontinued in 1968.

    Congrats! The most famous CCW of all time. It is the take everywhere revolver. Love mine. Yours looks like a Summit Guns special. Good price on a great gun!!

    Looks really nice. Carried one for 13 years on two different jobs - one security the other for a PD. That's what they issued us as an off-duty carry.
