My glock 17 and my Sig 556. The glock has had 3k rounds through it with 1 jam, and that was my fault the slide hit my stomach during recoil.( no I'm not that fat I was drawing from concealment and shooting from the hip) the Sig has 2,100 rounds of wolf/tula no jams. She may be heavy, but she always runs.

Your question is well taken but I must forcefully submit I plan on having all of my guns. I will not bury them nor will I surrender them.....too old for that crap anyhow. Long guns and shot guns for game to eat............hand guns for walking the fence line and protecting the property from looters when it is my shift to be on watch. Of course I get the night shift while others sleep.

    Hmm tough choice...

I'm not sure if my handgun would be my Colt 1911 or my Kahr CW9 or my WWII era Walther P38 (I shoot it really well!)

And I'm not sure if my long gun would be my AK-47 for defense or one of my .22s for hunting...

Some combination of those. I think any combination would be okay with me.

An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.

I'd have my SIG-220 and a Mossberg JIC Mariner shotgun and I would add one more thing....a good compound bow and a supply of arrows for the day that the ammo runs out.

None, I'd die in the gunfight during the confiscation attempt.

Glock 17 with Meprolites and a Mossberg 590 would be my choice.

For me it would have to be my Dan Wesson .357 revolver with the 4" barrel, with a extra 6" and 8" barrel and for a rifle a M-14; with these two you could handle most anything.

    Glock 19 and Remington Nylon 66 .22LR
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
