Crimson Trace LG-305 & 105
I'm having to sell my LG-405 grips due to a hand injury because they are too narrow and small. I especially have problems in the winter.
Does anyone have experience with the LG-305 or the 105 ? The 105 is Polymer and says it's snag free. I'm wondering if these are as narrow as the 405. I curently have Hogue grips on my 642 and have no problem gripping it.

These are the LG-305's that came stock on my girlfriend's new 642LG. They are Hogue-style rubber and give great cushion, even with +P ammo, but haven't caused any snagging problem for her. They are longer and give a full grip.

Looks good. They look thicker than the LG-405. The 405 feels really narrow to me. A full grip may be all I really need, but would prefer it to be as thick as a Hogue grip.

Those are the ones that came on the gun, with the S&W insignia on the grips. See if you can find a gunshop that stocks the 642CT and feel them out before you order a set.

I have the 105s on my gun. They are polymer and smaller than the 405s.
Good luck.

I have the same 642. I like the grips and the gun.

Try posting on the Crimson Trace Forums. Here's an FAQ on their J frame grips.
