    Modded my PF-9 Sights

    The old eyes didn't like the small dots on the rear sight. I was going to enlarge the holes and re-paint, but I noticed the holes were too close to the center slot to make it easy. Then I was going to cut just a slit the same height as the old holes, but that didn't look right either. ended up filing a flat area the full width and painting. Looked OK, but still didn't like the front sight even with its larger dot. Re-painted the whole flat area of the front too. Seems to work OK. May change colors on the rear to get more contrast. Sorry, photos aren't the best, but you get the idea. You can still see the outline of the old rear holes. This is only one coat, may do more later.

    That'll work.

    On a little gun like that though,if I ever needed it I would'nt take the time to look over the sights.

    Yep, the sight mod is mostly for range duty! I think the same can be said of ANY gun & sights in an immediate SD situation!
