Who has put the most through their P3AT?

So I keep hearing "carried a lot, shot a little" in regards to this little gun. Wondering what kind of life expectency it has and what I can do to keep it around longer. I already avoid +P rounds.

Lost count at 1000 about 6 mos ago. Had it 2+ years and it's never been sent back. DPX at 1020fps out it is best carry load I've found.

somewheres between 600 to 700 rounds, Had a couple FTF's but it was with the same Ammo which I know longer use. Generally carry ball ammo in mine.

I dont have one, but one of my shooting buddy's does. He has about 500 through his. There was some issues early on, but I slicked it up a little for him, its a good little gun now.

I have around 800 rds through mine. A few fte's when new, sent back to factory. I have fired about 700 rds since without a problem. I like the Fiocchi FMC the best, very consistent and clean shooting. I carry mine in a Nemesis pocket holster 24/7. A great gun for its intended purpose.

I don't shoot it a lot...not a lot of fun at the range...I probably have somewhere between 500-700 rounds...has ALWAYS gone bang.

Had the same question when I first got mine. I called KT, there response was 6,000 rounds was its life expectancy, but that's not in concrete. I've got a mere 300 rounds of FMJ & HP through mine, never had any problems with it.

I asked Kel Tec the same thing and they said 10,000 rounds was the gun's service life. I've got about 1200 through mine and it hums right along. Didn't hum at all for the first 600 round or so. I insisted on finding out if it would "break in" and function properly without that fool "fluffing and buffing".

OK then. About 6-10K allegedly. I still wonder who done the most outside of Keltec themselves. We have 1200...do we have 1500??

1100+ through my first, 600+ through the back up. P3AT owner for 3 years in April, only problem was trigger pin working out at 400 rnds. a little Loctite, and problem solved.

I don't know the exact count, but it must be well over 500. No problems. But it is not something I'd shoot all day at the range. Just enough to keep my confidence in my abilities with it.
