Sig P220 Carry - GrayGuns...

Bought my first Sig a few months ago, put 200 rds down the pipe and then shipped it off to GrayGuns.

They performed the CRRAP package which includes the Action Cleanup Package (Includes full detail strip, thorough cleaning, full Certified Armorer's inspection, detailed deburring of all major action surfaces, Feed & Reliability package and test fire with sight regulation) and incorporates the new Grayguns Reduced Reset Mechanism which reduces the reset travel by 40%, for a reduced reset trigger that's perfect for carry applications.

In addition, had a short trigger installed, and mainspring replaced with Wolff 17lb to lighten initial DA pull. I also replaced the stock grips with a set of Slim Grips.

The result...exceptional. Super smooth, lighter DA pull and crisp SA trigger pull. The short trigger and slim grips really change the dynamics of this gun, much improved considering I have small hands. Just shot 100 rds at the range and couldn't be any happier. BTW, I've had no problems (i.e. jams, feeding issues, etc.) with this gun. Thanks to the guys at GrayGuns for turning a great gun into a superb gun. Have a look...

Very nice. I have been thinking about the 220 carry and have received information from Grey Guns on the specific package you mentioned. Glad to know you are pleased as I know they come very highly recommended. Did you already have the Sig night sights on the gun or go with one of the Grey options. I couldn't tell base on the above pic.

Last I heard, turnaround time was ~6-8 weeks.

The gun had NS's when I purchased it.

A shooting buddy of mine sent off a SIG just about a week or two ago and was quoted 10--12 weeks turnaround.

Do they offer these services for all makes or just Sigs?

Don't know if I'd send my gun to any company to get the "CRRAP" package done to it! :blink:

See website, they also work on other guns. They have my H&K P2000 right now for a trigger job. Will post review when I get it back.
