    Seecamp vs Downsizer

Look at the size difference between a Seecamp (very small to start with) and the Downsizer. With the Seecamp you get 7 shots of 32 or 380. With the Downsizer you only get 1 shot but its a 45! Thought someone might find it interesting. Sorry about the cell phone picture.

    I would much rather have 7 .380 then 1 .45

    I would rather have 4 .22LR than 1 .45

    SMALL .45ACP:

    LM4 & LM5

I believe it's not truly semiauto, though...I believe you have to cycle the slide (FORWARD!) to chamber another round.

I suspect that 1 .45 is all you'd ever want to fire out of that.

Unpleasant to shoot would be an understatement....

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

+1. That'd do it for me!

I'll stick to my Seecamp for when I need a mouse gun.

I'll find out soon enough how "Unpleasant to shoot" it will be. I think it would be a great backup to my backup though.

    Is that Downsizer yours?

The Downsizer WSP has not been available for quite some time now.

One might get lucky and find one for an astronomical price on Gunbroker.

In fact...it's my understanding that the folks that had late orders pending with the WSP maker got screwed out of their $$$.

Not mine, YET. I'm on a mission to talk the owner into letting it go though. He said he would never sell it, so I guess he is going to "give" it to me. lol

I been told by a friend of the guy who made these that less than 75 were ever made! He has two of them with mutiple barrels.

Well, they are worth quite a bit these days.
I think I saw one on G'Broker some time ago and the asking price was 3 Grand or close to it.

Hey...I would absolutely LOVE to see the Inner Workings of that DownSizer.

If you're ever around when he takes the grips off ~ I'd love to see how everything "fits" in there.
If the lockwork is visible with the grip panels off...take some close-up photos and post them and PM me.

The Downsizer probably shouldn't be any more painful to shoot than the WW2 Liberator pistol.
