A new Glock 26 just came home with me from the gun show yesterday, so I don't have a collection photo yet, but that is a good idea... I'll have to do that soon. This makes 5 handguns. Collection in my signature below.

I currently have 9 handguns, 1 rifle and 1 shotgun. I'm shopping for another handgun as we speak, (Model 10 S&W). The wife stopped concerning herself with my gun addiction long ago.

Just tell her that you need one for each day of the week, so you need one more.
There are two handguns in my household. For now...

Six? That's not that many....I have six 1911s alone, that doesn't count the 6 Glocks &.....well...a bunch of others.

man law #372 states:
The only limiting factor in how many guns a man may own is determined by the size of his gun safe. A man may purchase a larger gun safe if said safe becomes unsafe, out dated, or his buddy's is nicer than his. If wife damages safe due to anger over the number of guns inside of it, then she must purchase a new safe of greater size to compensate for embarrasement when buddies laugh at his beat up one. A new safe may be purchased if the old one was given to a family member as a gift. A man may own 2 safes if a buddy has purchased a new one and offers the old one to him as a gift. All safes may be stocked to within 95% capacity of firearms, and 5% ammo.

I am late on the draw with the "shoes & purse thing". But use that against her.
When my wife busts my chops about this kind of stuff (i also have a weakness for baseball cards and anything Detroit Tigers) I tell her that if this is all she has to worry about then she is in good shape. At least I am not at the bars and out with other women.
I own:
handguns = 3
rifles = 2
shotguns = 1
I know that this isn't a lot but every few months I am selling, trading, and buying something else. It is a viscous cycle.

The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting. It is about keeping the government in check. This requires that the citizenry is well armed and at all times has immediate access to arms.
