I would only recommend the Glock. I just got rid of my S&W MP9c, it went back to Smith twice. My Glock has never let me down!

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
i had a glock 23 and ended up trading it in for my MP 9mm...i liked the glock a lot, but i just simply shoot the MP better. I have about 1300 rounds through mine so far, and have not had the first problem with all ammos including JHPs.
I love my M&P9c no problems what so ever.
definitely have to agree that you need to shoot both if you can...otherwise go with the glock.
I was in a similar pickle, addin the Sig 229 to the mix and the glock came out on top for me. it just FITS my hand, and i can put it on target without any hesitation. My first clip out of the glock 23 was one of the best pistol shot groupings I've had in a long time...and I hadn't shot a pistol in probably 2 years! The sig and M&P .40 just were all over for me...they seemed to kick more than the glock too for some odd reason. :)
I'm going to end up purchasing a g23...but people could not be more right that it is entirely about what works for you and personal preference.
