Interesting. ghost tracker, what does Cylinder and Slide do to the trigger, by chance?

I'm positive I'll be sticking with the steel frame Kahrs for a couple reasons. First, if I'm carrying a smaller gun (which the K9 is) than I want it to be metal and preferably steel so that even the hotter 9mm loads are still easy and comfortable to shoot. Second, they just plain feel better to me.

Anyway, thanks for the answers guys. The only thing I need to do is see how durable factory magazines are, or find tough after-market mags.

    if only they'd make a K45

I have an Mk9 and love it, accurate, concealable, no recoil to speak of, good look'en, (wood grips too), I'd love to get the K9 to so I could rotate them but seems silly to get two nearly identical but I think the K9 fits me better than any gun every made.

    I'd recommend night sights too.

C&S takes the already amazingly smooth Elite trigger & transforms it to a feel that can best be described as "the best S&W DA Revolver trigger" you've ever pulled. Like teflon socks on a glass floor. And, while I'm not sure if it's actually shortened, the reset seems quicker & more defined.

The factory mags are tough as nails, That's good because I'm not sure that there's any aftermarket Kahr mags available. I haven't seen any.

Excellent news, thanks. I try to have many mags per gun, and any handgun I use for concealed carry is going to also be used for pistol courses (train like you fight, and all that).

I'll keep the C&S option in mind; it's going to be a few months at least until I can snag a new Kahr anway (hopefully Uncle Sam is nice with his rebate).

I used this custom E9 for a CCW weapon but I gave it up. Why? It was just too pretty for CCW. Buy a good holster and I do not think there is a better small 9mm for carry. Regards, Richard

Thats one main reason I went to polymer.... besides the lighter weight.

That's like saying a woman is too pretty to marry, or a Porsche is too fast to drive.

But I DO know what you mean. I replaced my C&S custom High-Power with a GLOCK G19 as my primary CCW because the thought of losing it to a felon or into an evidence locker was a risk I'm no longer willing to take. The G19 works just fine...and I can buy five (5) of them for what I have invested in the BHP.

It's funny, we go to the cost & trouble of getting a pistol just the way we like it and THEN...we like it so much that we carry something else!
