Going to spend up to $675 at the gun shop tomorrow

    Get the Ruger, but don't pay $675, for it, that is too much. Look for a gun show in your area and try there...

    Look at the S&W M&P series. They now have a .45 compact I believe. I carry a 9 compact and love it. The ergonomics are great. The 9c use 12 rd mags, the .40c use 10 rd mags, and the .45c uses (?)rd mags. The 9's & .40's sell for $460 around here in FL. If you buy any M&P thru April 30 S&W rebates to you $50 and 2 free magazines.

    Good quality guns, reasonable prices, all American company, and second to none customer service. What's not to like? Give 'em a look, I think you'll like.

    If you plan on carrying your new piece, make sure you get one that they make holsters for. That's the advantage of carrying something popular. Just something to think about.
