Glock Type Trigger With Manual Safety

Other then the new Springfield XD45, what other guns have the Glock and XD type trigger, and also have a manual safety? I am not asking about SA/DA triggers with decockers, but only guns with "Glock" type triggers, ie, same pull each time.

    Thanks.

New versions of the Smith and Wesson M&P 45 have optional 1911-style safeties I believe.

I think it's variants 6 and 7 that offer the DAO trigger w/ manual safety (non-decocker), but I could be wrong...

Taurus 24/7 Pro, PT111 Pro, PT145 Pro,etc. They all have a short DAO trigger and a manual safety. I think the new S&W M&P .45 has a manual safety.
    Glock 19/FEG/FM HiPowers/Keltec P32 for me. When I can't use my 870,N98 or Marlin .30-30 of course...

The M&P 45 DOES have a thumb safety on some models.

Are you sure about that? I went to their web page and it appears that only the PT 145 is DAO only. All the others seem to be DA/SA.

The Ruger SR9 trigger, at least internally, is nearly identical to the Glock trigger. Like the Glock, it isn't a true DAO action, as the striker is semi-cocked as the slide cycles. Pulling the trigger retracts the striker the rest of the way, and then releases it. The gun has to cycle for the trigger to reset.

The manual safety is frame mounted in a similar position as a 1911, but it's MUCH smaller. Like the 1911 safety, it can't be put on unless the gun is cocked, or in a 'safe-action' type gun, semi-cocked. Also, activating the safety not only prevents the trigger from moving, but it locks the slide as well. I was able to take the safety off easily since I got it, with the smaller switch. Putting the safety back on was a bit difficult for a while, but it got easier with use.

I have had a PT24/7 before they made the Pro model and it had a heavy DAO trigger although it is a striker action. Then I had a PT111 Pro that had a heavy DAO second-strike capability, but it has a short DAO trigger and also the manual safety.

You are right. Strange, I went to Buds Gun Shop site, and they listed all kinds of Taurus DAO models not on the Taurus web site. Can't figure that out. Thanks for the info.
