5-8 weeks?? OUCH!
Is that normal from this company?
I have no idea about simply rugged, but more and more internet companies say 5-8 weeks shipping to avoid all the bad juju that comes their way when something doesnt arrive when the customer thinks it should.
Well we've got a new snub, I picked up a used 360PD that's had the action worked, the hammer bobbed, and had the XS sight added to it. It's probably got the best DA/SA trigger I've ever felt on a J-Frame.:image035:
Pics will be posted later.
Aight, enjoy. And let your lady friend get dessert, Lump needs it.
Well, I finally stopped bein lazy and got an image editor, so here ya go. It's the only pic of both my snubbies I have out here in Hawaii, but it has all my other handguns too. I don't guess the .38 spl derringer counts as a snubby.
Rossi 461 .357 on the top left, and a S&W 638 below it.
A snubby is definitely in my future purchases, looking at a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 special with the bobbed hammer. Hey buckeye, do they let you have handguns in Hawaii? Just kidding.:biggrin2:
Well crzy, I could bring all them out here if I registered them with both the Honolulu PD, and the base PMO, and then they would rot in the armory here on base. So I could, but they are in much better hands at my parents house.
I see and you are right. I did not know you were in the military. You have my utmost respect and deepest appreciation sir! Thank you for keeping me and everyone else in our nation safe.:yup:
Yup, I'm active duty Marine Infantry. Thanks for the kind words. It's my pleasure to do this job, I couldn't find any fortune 500 companies after college that wanted to pay me to run around shooting stuff and blowing it up, but the Marines would.
So, back to snubbies, heres a question I though of, does a derringer fall into the categories or revolver or semi-auto, or is it its own special type?
Hawaii is a may issue state, and to date has only issued three carry permits. I thought you may have been one of those lucky few. I pray that God watches over you and my son-in-law,(also in the military), and all of the members of our armed forces and strikes fear into the hearts of our enemies.
I believe that the category of derringers is separate from snubnose revolvers or automatics.
