My cc is a Chief's Special that has Hogue grips and a black finish that is suppose to salt water resistant for up to 500hrs.
My other snubbie I use in Cowboy Action Shooting and it's a Pietta 1860 cap and ball revolver that I rolled an R&D conversion cylinder into and added a 1851 Navy grip frame in place of the 1860. The R&D cylinder is a 45 Colt and since it's an open top type pistol it only get's fed blackpowder loads or lite cowboy loads.

Well, its been a little over 6 months since I've been carrying my 442 daily as a BUG. I have to say that it has taken over a lot of ccw duties and it is always with me. That says a lot since I was never much of a revolver type.

Sweet snubs guys! I'm glad this thread has been brought back from near death.

RacerX, I forgot to welcome you to the forum! I'm honored that it was a thread I started that got you here. Please forgive my bad manners.

Here are the two that I carry. The 37-2 Airweight has been my everyday BUG for about three years and the finish shows it!

No worries man! Some of my favorite forums were discovered by complete accident, and this one definately qualifies!

Lots of eye candy here..I carry a 442 at times, but you already know what it looks like, so will save the bandwidth and disk space..
I know, I know, you are smarter than me..just ask you..

Why do you change from 38SPL to 357 when you go out? Why dont you just keep the same ammo in your gun no matter where you are?

I prefer to keep the chances for over penetration to a minimum in my house as 4 people I love live here, out on the street I like to have a little more power in my pocket.

    *EDIT*
out on the street I am already awake and fully alert, after a 12 hour shift if some one decides to break into my house I dont want to be so worried about over pen.

    *2nd EDIT*
my wife finds the .38 spec. easier to shoot if she has to get into the gunsafe ICE.
