That's my current favorite snub.
I don't need .357 - I wish the 442 had the XS setup....
Well, this is my first snubbie. This is a 37-2 with a nickle finish that is flawless. I love how light it is. I think I will be carrying this piece a lot. I am planning on adding a T-grip and adding a bobbed hammer.
i didn't want to start a new thread for a simple question
are the speed and security six revolvers from ruger the same size dimensionally? i know the butts are different but if i get a holster made for a speed six my security six is the same thing right?

The Speed Six has fixed sights whereas I believe the Security Six has adjustable sights that stick up a bit from the frame of the gun. Just check holster to be sure the rear sight doesn't catch.
I have a S&W 442 (don't like except the light weight) , Love my SP101 , but I picked up a ROSSI 6 shot .357 (the same size as sp101 ) and absolutely LOVE IT and it's accurate !!!!!!!
The Rossi .357 6 shot was the first pistol I bought. Like a dummy I sold it to buy an auto for carry. Should have kept it. Stainless steel, inexpensive, accurate and a joy to fire.
GREAT SNUBS FOLKS..just scrolled through the majority of this thread. Hate to see a 1911 thread equal to this(picture-wise)..I'd need to take a vacation day to look through it!

Wow, this thread is still going strong. I had no idea it would turn into what it has when I started it. How cool is that?
Anyway, just an update on my snubbie saga; My 442 has become a daily carry for me. It started strictly as a on duty BUG, but it now finds its way to be on me more than any other gun I have. I have qualify in the morning, can't wait to give the snub another workout. I'm also tinkering around with the idea of a T- grip, but I need to find one to try first before I plunk down my hard earned cash.
