some realy nice looking guns!
The Smith 396 and the Taurus 650 CIA are nice. The Smith is more refined but both are really nice to me.
Saw your post on the S&W 940 9mm. I've thought about this for the wife since the choice would be .38 +P or 9mm. How did you arrive at your choice and what are your impressions of this gun and the 9mm in this gun?
finally got some pics of my Taurus 85UL:
here it is with it's big bro, the PT1911:
the guy i bought it from did some nice work on it, like polishing it, and porting the barrel.
I just picked up this model 66-1 about a month ago. It's my everyday carry now.
I love snubbies!
I don't have any pictures, but I sure to love my S&W 638. I love my Ed Brown Kobra Carry more. I love it more when looking at it, holding it, shooting it, having it, but when it comes to carrying it, I sure do love my snubbie!
I have a S&W 442 38 special snub and I love it. Utilitarian purpose driven design. Matte black, simple, reliable, perfect for pocket carry. I also recently bought a 1960's S&W model 49 "Bodyguard" with shrouded hammer. A little heavier, which shoots better when practicing, and the original wood grips fit my hand well, but still easily pocket carried. It shows a lot of carry wear on the blusing (no rust as it's been kept well oiled) but not much shooting wear. It's just a cool old gun. Everyone loves it. I also have an old H&R 22 9-shot revolver that's a snub. I've got other revolvers and semis, but it's just hard to beat a Smith & Wessen snub nosed 38. I'll post a pic of my snubbies soon.
Picked up my EAA Windicator .357 mag 2"today. NIB is was $265.
They've gone up about $30 in the 2 months since I put it on lay-a-way.
Built like an anvil, but doesn't kick as bad as I thought a .357 would.
This is the stock photo from the web site. I'll upload more pics after I get it cleaned.
