WOW, love that 640, looks like just about the perfect CC revolver. Mind if I ask how much all that ran you?

Hiker;
That is a great classic Model 36 and the square butt makes shooting it quite civilized.
Hi Saber;
If a person wants to do tiny .357 revolvers, that looks like the way to go. How do those grips work out when shooting heavy loads? They appear to be an efficient design.
The grip angle is good and they provide a full ‘pinky finger’ capture for my medium/small size hands. For shooting .38 and .38P they’re above average and seem to be quite good for conceal carry. Now, they are open-backed so there isn’t any cushion to help with recoil impact, and as such, I wouldn’t want to shoot .357 with these at all.

I didn't realize they were open backed. Now I notice the merest sliver of back strap showing. Still, they look as though they would promote a solid and effective grip which could do much to manage recoil. I think I'd like 'em if I used 'em, especially with heavy loads.
Saber nice 640 you've got there I've been considering one my self. The only thing that is making me hold off is I'm waiting till I have enough saved up for a Colt magnum carry.
I gotta say though I'll probably end up with both anyways one of these days.
Snub nose revolvers,the original concealed carry guns.
In fear of my fiancée finding this post, I rather not say. It started out as a ‘simple’ upgrade and it sorta turned into a pet project that ran-a-muck. In affect, it’s now my little ‘white elephant’ with more work planned. Provided I follow through, I would say it’s about halfway done at this point...

I realize this may come as a shock, but not everyone on the forum is an expert at arms or a walking gun broker. What do you say if we all agree to post the name or model number of the PIC’s we’re posting? I’m just saying…
