    Hi Los;

    That's a great looking Model 40, all done up in nickel with the classic grips.

    Thank You, Sir. Taking her to the range this weekend.

    Just took possession this morning. I've decided to dress her up in Stags and a nice shiny T-Grip, too.

    I won't bore everyone with ANOTHER pic of a 642, but thanks to all the other pics on here, I could'nt take it any longer and picked one up. Actually, I've been keeping my eye out at the local shop and happened to be there buying a Sig light when I noticed a nice used one still in the case
    I mistakenly was smug thinking I'd get out of there relatively cheap this time..hahahaha

    Aw c'mon! Nobody is going to get bored over another pic. Take it as a challenge, try a different angle, a different backdrop, theme or something to make the pic different, even if the snubbie is the same.

    That's what we want to see. At least post a pic when you get a holster for it.

    Alright, if you insist, it's hijacked my Taurus's Galco holster and speed loader ( which is nice for a change, not having to buy new!)
    I like my stainless Taurus, but this is half the weight, plus no hammer

    Interesting that even a nicely boned holster like your galco made for a Taurus fits the 642. It appears even the trigger guard boning matches up quite well. Is this by design, or just luck?

    I purchased a fobus holster for a S&W snub nose for my Charter Arms and was worried if it would fit properly. The price on Ebay was to cheap to pass up because I knew if it didn't fit I could turn around and sell it on Ebay for at least a 50% markup based on what they usually go for.

    As it turns out if fits my Charter just fine. Snaps in with a definite "click" and hardly any play at all. I don't use that holster all that much since it does stick out more than my IWB but it would make a really nice range holster.

    It fits it perfectly. I placed them side by side and one over the other, and there is very negligible differences. That particular Galco is also adjustable, so it would probably handle others as well.
    If I remember right, Galco advertised it to be for both those, and a couple of others as well.

    I know it's probably borderline collectible with the aforementioned stuff, but it's such a nice gun to carry. I honestly have no idea...

    That was very nice! Congrats

    Here's my 638-3 with a set of S&W, 1980's grips I found on ebay last week. I'm still waiting for a set of Grashorn's Elk grips and a Tyler T adaptor.
