Just a pic of my current snubbie collection.
Yesterday we went out to shoot. Took all three of the LCR's out with us. I decided to check and see what the recoil difference was between the .357 with stock rubber grips and .38's loaded, it being a little heavier than the standard, and the standard .38 with wood grips and the same .38 ammo in it. I fired one round at a time from each gun, using one hand, alternating between guns until all 5 shot from both guns were fired. To be honest, I could not tell the difference in recoil. This is shooting one handed. I love my wood gripped .38 LCR. My favorite carry gun! Light weight, easy to shoot, and because of the rounded, shrouded concealed hammer housing, it's easy to conceal and doesn't have a point sticking out like I get from a semi-auto with a slide.
Got to love them LCR's
tkruf, you should go for an LCR in every color. :yup:
Waiting on a S&W 442 to arrive. First snub in 30 years. Had an airweight years ago. Should have held on to it.
This should do it. After what I've seen in this thread. Been a great thread.
Love revolvers, My SP101 357 3" barrel..
It took me awhile to find one but this may be IT for me
A ruger speed six
My current favorite snubbie. Ruger LCR 38 with boot grips and XS front night sight.
Very cool thread. This is my first post here, and I actually joined to research a snubbie purchase.
My 637 with the internal lock removed and a bob job.
While I will admit my first purchase was a sig p290 the light primer strikes and unreliable feeding made me quickly trade it in for a snubbie. Ruger sp101 3" .357 love it and don't at all feel under gunned.
I am enjoying all the pics and soon hope to add my sp101 3" to the thread. I think a thread like this could only work with revolvers and subbies, if it were say Glock you could just post one pic and be done. I like the customizability of the subbie revolvers.
