You must not have read my post and understood it.

My point is that if you seek out ammunition to defend your life with at the darkest moment of your life, and you only have five or six rounds to do it with, it just makes sense to select the best available, rather than seek out an old school solution because it's "cool" that it happens to be from the same bygone era that the firearm design is from.

Some revolvers still have some sensible applications as a modern defense tool. My belief is that when employing a revolver (this includes all firearms) it makes sense to maximize the effectiveness of the tool. That's all.

When it comes to defending your life, choose whatever tools you wish... it's your life on the line, not mine.
I understood perfectly, just don't happen to agree. It's the man not the tool that determines the outcome.

No problem, ctr. You do what you do and let the chips fall where they may.
The clowns in government office see the solution to everything is write more laws, creating the ever-mounting morass of legal handicaps that we citizens must labor under.

STATE'S RIGHTS RULE and should be INVIOLATE. Feds butt out!

My S&W 19-3 2 1/2" .357. I shoot mostly 38spl + P in it but it will handle the magnum loads. Although shown with the original wood grips, I carry it with Pachmayrs. 1974 vintage.

This is my only snub currently. It's also on loan to my mom for her CC weapon.

Its an elcheapo ozark trail from wally world. I am in search of a more defensive edc knife but holsters keep eating up my budget and I still need a scope for my deer rifle.

My S&W Model 19 2.5". Hogue round butt grips make for a great grip and it shoots very well. A nicely balanced gun. I could see carrying this gun. Photos to follow.
