This is a discussion on The Superduper Snubbie thread within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I joined the club today!...
Reading this thread has got me wanting that S&W 642 that has been on my list for two years now. The only snubby I have is my Ruger SP101.

All these posts since dr_cmg and his CA .44 Special and no one else has remarked or wanted to know more about the speed strip that he had with it? Could we know more about it? Blademan21 would you like to comment or open a new post about it?
I have a S&W 442 (don't like except the light weight) , Love my SP101 , but I picked up a ROSSI 6 shot .357 (the same size as sp101 ) and absolutely LOVE IT and it's accurate !!!!!!!

I also have a Safariland speedloader. It's more compact than the HKS speedloader that a lot of people use. The only drawback (and the reason that I don't carry it more) is that it is bulky. The speedstrips carry much easier.

Got it ordered from Simply Rugged! Thanks a bunch :)
If you own a handgun and your state law allows it, please carry.
well im in the market for a stubbie. Is the S&W M&P 340PD worth the extra money? or should I go with the 640? Or any other suggestions.
I bought a Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum with the 3-inch barrel and concealment grip in 1990 and carried it for quite a few years. This picture is NOT my gun (I don't have a pic). It's from Ruger's site, but mine is identical:
Some would argue that this isn't a true "snubbie" and they might have a point. I never carried it IWB because of the bulk and weight. These days, it's the bedside table gun while the XD 45 Compact gets carry duty.

Here I go.
Wife's bedside gun, SP101 in .38. Ammo is Fed +P+ 110gr.
BBQ gun, Smith 37 with Nyclads:
Not sure if this is a snubby, but it's a practice companion for the 37 S&W 63:
Oddball J frame, the 940 9mm with 124gr Hydra Shok:
Ugliest gun ever. Model 15 bought surplus from the local prison. Horrible finish, great action. Nyclad +P .38s:
Old school Charter Bulldog. Probably a snub, maybe not. Glasers and Magsafe frangibles:
NAAs in .22 and Magnum. Bike riding or bumming around the woods pocket gun, thus the shotshells. SSS in .22lr, +V CCI in the Magnum:
RG .22 short. Don't ask. it's a snub, it's in the safe, it counts...
Charter Arms (old) stainless .38 with Nyclads:
SIXTO, Great idea!
Nice collection superhouse! I have one of those 22 shorts too! I thought I was the only one!
