    Thumbs up Kahr Came Back

Figured I'd start a new thread for this.

My P45 that I bought in February came back form Kahr this week. It was having a very high frequency of ejection problems, and the slide release was completely screwed up.

The note that came with the pistol indicated that they replaced the slide release and ejector. They also polished the feed ramp. They didn't note it, but it came back with two new magazines, not the ones I sent back with the pistol.

I put 100 rounds of WWB and 50 Federal HST's through it on Tuesday without so much as a hint of a problem. A few more range sessions like that and I'll be a very happy camper.

I already ordered some Mepro's for it and an Agrip since I found the checkering on the little Kahr downright painful. Left a blister on my pinky and a nice red palm.

Anyways, a nod to Kahr for fixing that gun up so well. I didn't think it would come back in working order to be honest, and I checked the serial number on it to make sure they didn't swap guns on me. The difference was completely night and day.

Those grips are painful. It took me more than 200 rounds and a few outings to have that sharpness on the frame dull to a kinder/gentler grip.
    Now, its a pussycat....

Well it's got about 550 rounds at this point and they're as sharp as they were when I got it. Don't seem to be dulling down on their own. It's no biggie, I'll try out those Agrips and see how they do.

The Hogue Handall Jr. solves the grip problem too.

I have always heard Kahr has great customer service. I have a CW9 that has been flawless and my father has PM9. He is currently looking at the new CW45. I am glad they got yours fixed. My one complaint bout them is the painful grips.
