    On Target Custom FN Hi Power w/ NEW VZ G10 Hi Power Grips.

    OK, maybe KPW will leave me alone now.

    I got the slide back from Jess at On Target yesterday, and got my grips from VZ in as well. The front sight looks nice and centered, and I'll be running it some more hopefully this week end or next, but in the meantime, here are some pics.

















    I'm really liking the VZ grips on the HP thus far, they have a little more grip to them than the alumagrips that Jess had on the gun, and they feel great. I'll be sure to give more thoughts on them after the next rage trip.

    WOW, that is one good looking Hi Power. I have to say, this really makes me want to get one again, but the reason I don't is that they aren't compatible with my big fat hands. The web of my hand rides over the tang, and the hammer bites me as I fire the pistol, occasionally even bringing blood. I have never shot a Hi Power that wasn't a tack driver, though. Again, that is one sweet looking gun. Have fun getting to know it better!!

    Now that's what I've been waiting for! That's my idea of a perfect HP. Beautiful and business-like in the same package. I'm gonna consider sending mine his way after I take care of some other fires burning. The grips look great and I like the profile on them. Great pics, thanks JD.
