No direct experience with the Bersa Thunder9, but I do own a Bersa Firestorm Mini Thunder40. Gun functions flawlessly and is fairly accurate. The gun does not have a manual safety on it, it is a decocker model. Some people do not care for decockers, but myself I like them. Be advised the Bersa magazines are fairly pricy, between $40-50. Hope this helps.

Might try this site for a holster. Lets you input what your looking for then shows what is available. I use it as a reference quite often.

I bought a UC-9 from dr_cmg some time ago - and find it a very capable gun. It won't replace my 226 ST EDC but I'd still be content to use it as a carry piece. It feels good and shoots well. I like it.

Not sure re holster availability but I am sure there are rigs made for it.

A good friend bought a thunder 9mm as his first carry gun, and still carries it to this day, 7 guns later. I've shot it a number of times. Decent little gun.

As for holsters, they can be difficult to find. I am actually trying to find one for him as a gift since he still carries it around in a cheap Uncle Mikes cloth holster. Most of the big names will have something fitted for the Bersa, but mostly Kydex, and very few IWB. I have located a couple of custom leather guys though, but they tend to be a bit pricey. There is a Bersa forum where I found out about the custom guys. I don't remember the link, but I'm sure you can google right to it.

A few days after my son bought one of these, I got to shoot it at the range. I ordered one for myself the next day. It has full ambidextrous controls, darn nice sights, great trigger in both SA and DA modes, quite accurate, and eats everything we have tried. (Note: the decock/safety lever drops the hammer, locks the slide, and disconnects the trigger)

As far holster availability, most makers of standard leather models don't make one specifically for these guns, although some are close enough to be fine. Custom leather is not that much more than these over-the-counter leather holsters. Since you saved a bundle when you bought this gun, don't worry about a few extra bucks for the best in leather.

Never owned one, but I have read lots of good reports on the Bersa line of pistols. For the money they are one the best bargains out there.

I've put about 500 rounds through mine without a hiccup.
Great little gun with good sights and nice trigger. Good price, too...

I found a holster at a gunshow last month that is a perfect fit.
On the back it says "Glock 17"...

Would not have thought it that big; G19 or maybe G26. I guess I need to look at over all size!!
