    Have you put any 357 mags through your new 340 yet. I took my 360 to the range for the first time yesterday and wow those 357 mags sting...... of course catching one would be worse.....and I guess thats the point!

    I've put 50 Magtech 158gr Semi Jacked flat point rounds through it

    The 158gr rounds were brutal. The Guardian Golds weren't bad at all. I think bullet weight has a massive effect on felt recoil in this little gun. My original intent was to carry .38+Ps in it for a while until I could "train up" to .357s, but after only a couple of range visits, I ditched the .38s and I'm just carrying those Guardian Gold .357s. It still causes quite a bit of pain, but all my shots are going where I want them to and my follow ups are pretty quick as well. I don't think I would notice the recoil at all if I ever had to use it.
