    My new 1911A1

I just finished making these grip stocks from ash burl I keep for special projects. They are 3/16" thicker than factory and I added the new trigger so it will fit my hand. Both are fitted to my new (used) Springfield 1911-A1 Mil-Spec.

Good job and one-of-a-kind too. When you make 'em yourself they are something special !
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Would you be interested in possibly making some for sale??

PM me with a price. I would be very interested.

Those are sweet! While you're at it, maybe you should go and pick up some birdseye maple.

Making the stocks took me about 4 hours labor (I could maybe get that down to 3 hours but...)

I normally charge $50/hr for woodworking shop time, so I'd price myself out of any market for selling them.

    Thanks for asking.

Ahhh, what an awful dream. Ones and zeros everywhere... and I thought I saw a two.
