    Would you mind posting detailed pics of the internals? I had one of the initial release guns, it was rough inside and had some problems (not mag-related as most 1911 problems are) so I ended up trading it. I'd like to see if Taurus has improved the quality of their machine and finish work.

    Nice. I was new to the 1911 world when I was buying, ended up with a stainless Springfield Armory Milspec, but in retrospect I think that Taurus would've been a better purchase. Less money, has beavertail.

    To me, when shooting that beavertail makes all the difference in the world.
