PM9 and .32 Seecamp or Kahr 380?
I already have a PM9 and am on the verge of a Seecamp in .32. Then, as luck would have it, I see a thread on the upcoming .380 Kahr. I wonder if it makes sense to sell the PM9 and get that or just keep the PM9 and get a Seecamp (in something that small I just think it makes more sense in .32).
Thanks for entertaining my inability to make decisions.

I'd keep what you got, the Kahr 380 is only a little smaller, not enough IMO to make a big difference... and I really dont like the Seecamp.

I'd keep the PM9 for sure, 9mm makes a nice defensive round for a primary carry weapon. If you still feel the need for a smaller caliber, you should save up and make it an addition to what you have now rather than a replacement. Just my opinion.

Why are you going from a 9mm to a .380ACP or .32ACP?

Well, I'm a Kahr fan and a Seecamp fan so my recommendation is to do what you're planning to do in the first place. Keep the PM9 and get that lovely little Seecamp for those times when you just want to drop something tiny and light into your pocket and go.

The PM9 works most of the time, but something smaller would fill a hole. I'm not a ballistics expert, but it seems like (just intuitively) that there might not be a whole lot of difference between a .380 and a .32 in such a small gun and that maybe there's a point to where one can effectively cram a larger caliber into a smaller gun.

Skipit skipit skipit. .380 offers no advantage. If you want a "Micro-Mite" to replace your PM9, get a Rhorbaugh. We just recently had this discussion with jwalker. .380 has nothing on 9mm; less out of the micro barrel. (In context, the 9mm muzzle blast will do more trauma to a chest cavity with contact, than .380. .380 vs .32 is 6 of 1, 1/2 doz of the other.) A Khar .380 really has nothing on the .32 Seecamp, as the Seecamp was designed around the cartridge. The .32 Seecamp will be a better gun than the Khar .380. Khar is nice, but the fit and finish on a Seecamp carries significant pride of ownership with its hand fitting. And it works.
