About to go Pick up an LCP

    Hey guys (and gals),

I am going to go pick up my LCP today. My "fun store" has one in and it's got my name on it!!! Im pretty excited to see it.

After a thorough cleaning and oiling I will take it out to the range and post a range report on it.

    Wish me luck!

Hey great! I got mine a few weeks ago, and it's just great. Let us know how you make out at the range.

great, can't wait for a range report...a few more positive reports, and I will be looking...sounds like they are going to be more reliable than the keltec's

I too went to pick one up today. To no avail, my gun shop won't get more in for another month. He had one for display purposes though. It felt wonderful in my hand. I inquired about the obvious similarities between the LCP and the keltec and the shop owner said the LCP was indeed made by Keltec. I've been scouring the internet for about an hour now and I can't find anything official. Do any of you know more?

The LCP's are indeed made by Ruger. My LCP is stamped: Ruger - Prescot, AZ - USA.

Here's a link to a review done at the Ruger factory:

Congrats! This is the next gun on my list. Great power to size ratio.
If you own a handgun and your state law allows it, please carry.
