How about some Alumigrips or Fusion slim rosewood grips? I just put Kimber smooth rosewood grips on my Ultra CDP II. Definitely better for carry than the stock checkered rosewood grips, I found the Fusion ones after I already ordered the Kimbers. Not that the Kimbers are bad at all but I may have given the Fusion slim rosewood grips strong consideration if I had found them earlier.

I have two Kimbers...I put new grips on each!

Search the above 'Related Links'...see gun parts...then see Esmeralda grips...
She's got some unique sets and many to choose from. I have spoken with her on several occasions and she IS dependable.

    Slim Alumagrips on carry gun

I have a Kimber Pro similar to yours, and a Colt Defender which is smaller. They are both aluminum frame carry guns and I have slim Alumagrips on both of them. These grips have a good feel on the hand and make the guns quite slim for easy concealment. I recommend them highly.

I like those POGO $50.00 a set. Esmeralda has a good looking set just a little more. Hmmm

I bought some AlumaGrips and was so happy with them I bought a second pair!

    The slim cocobolo alternative

In addition to the slim Alumagrips I showed above on my Kimber Pro, I also have a set of slim cocobolo wood grips for the gun I bought on the McCormick website. I like these about as well as the aluminum, and they give a different look:

Chip McCormick Slim Grips!! I had(Doh!!) them on my Pro Carry II and loved them.

Thanks guy's , I like the alumagrips. I wanted something stronger then wood. The hornedl lizard grips look good, but I could see me getting tired off them. I'm getting the alumagrips!!

Have a look at VZ's offerings:

I had a set of VZ 320s on my 1911, and really liked them. Good grip / feel, not too rough, and wear like iron.
