So, as I've stated recently, I came under the siren's song of a used Glock 27 (.40 S&W) and succumbed today. Those who've shot 'em, or have 'em, let me know what I've just done.

love mine. Have had it for over 10 years and probably 1000 rounds thru it.Reload all but the carry rounds.
You got yourself a good little CCW, thats what you've done.

What they said.
You will most likely love it like most of us who own them do, if you don't you can probably get most if not all the money you paid for it back.
They are pretty popular!
It's my best for carry. The G19 has got it's own niche, but the 27 sees the outside world the most with me. I'd be lost without it. Learn the Glock trigger on this one, and practice often with it strong hand only. Once you've made that bond--ask again about holster options. Good luck with it all.
You've purchased one of the best all around CCW guns out there.
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left.
Love mine! I put the 3.5 pound (it's called 3.5 but is really 4 pounds)
trigger in and I shoot it better than my Glock 23 (with the 3.5 trigger).
Carry it IWB in a Comp-Tac MTAC holster or in Camelback waistpack for jogging. I have five great shooting 1911s and three Glocks but the 27 sees the most carry time of them all. The short barreled models like the 27 and 30 seem to surprise a lot of people with their accuracy.
I bought a 27 back in 1998 and felt that I would prefer the 23 better.
I sold the 27 and picked up the 23. The 27 just did not do it for me the first time around. The 27 I purchased in 2006 has become a favorite, up there with my Colt CCO. Like the other gentleman said,
learn the trigger. This is a small, light, accurate gun that packs a lot of firepower. I carry an extra nine round magazine in my front pocket and a thirteen rounder with the sleeve adapter on my belt pouch and I barely notice that it's all there. When I get home I often leave it on for quite awhile.
Enjoy!
Without knowing it you also purchased a .357 Glock!
You just forgot to get your .357 drop in barrel!![]()
ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

The Glock 27 is my Main EDC (everyday carry) gun. You have gotten yourself a fine CCW gun. Treat it well and it will take care of you WSHTF. I love mine a lot! It's very accurate, reliable and very concealable! I bought a conversion 9mm barrel and G26 mags from Lone Wolf Dist. so it won't cost me too much money shooting at the range.![]()
Freedom isn't free! Don't ever take it forgranted!
Well, you have gotten yourself into one of the finest bellyguns you can buy. I own one. It is an excellent hand cannon of a defensive weapon. It may kick a little but you know the 10 rounds o' butt whoopin' exiting that barrel will take care bi-niss. Please excuse my vernacular. ;) And enjoy your new handgun.
I agree, I have one too and carry it the most. I bought the GAP extension for the mag and it makes a giant difference in handling the gun w/o hindering the concealabililty.![]()
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.
Ah, the G27...very nice selection, you won't be disappointed!
You picked up a GREAT gun. I love mine and carry it very comfortably in a Mtac by Comp Tac. I just recently added a CT laser to it, like it a lot, carry it often, unless I have the need to downsize to a pocket gun sometimes.
I have the 19 and 23, and recently added the 26 to my collection. Glock subcompacts are great size guns and very reliable. Personally, I prefer OWB carry options. The 26 is the first gun that I am considering carrying IWB. It's just a little smaller both length wise and height wise.
It's a few less rounds in the carry capacity, but is still twice the normal capacity of a revolver. Plus, plus, and more plus' and I love Glock's reliability.
