    Glock 30sf

I finally got to see/hold a new Glock 30sf. I always liked shooting the Glock 30 *(I rented at the range) but the grip was just to big the, sf is totally different the grip feels perfect I put a down payment right on the spot if it shoots as good as the 30 I used to rent it should be quite a gun. Anybody else out there got one??

Got mine a few weeks ago. Love it! Sold my 23 and now the 30SF is my main CC. You made a great choice

    Bark'n,

    Same as the 30----- 10+1

They shortened the backstrap, it takes the 30 and 21 mags. We sold the one we just got in today.

I had a 30 and a 36, the 36 wasn't enough rds, the 30 was too damned big for my mitt. This 30sf is a winner. I think the 30 will go by the wayside, and the 36 will suffer as well with this new 30sf on the market.

Thanks Brownie... I am now going to have to find one to shoot!

I am a fan of the .45 acp and have a Colt Officers model and a Para P-12 but since being a medic on the Sheriff's SRT team, I was forced into the G-22 or G-23. So I've been shooting and carrying the G-23 for the last 9 years.

I recently got an XD9sc as a BUG and love it.

I got the XD9sc over anything else hoping one day my wife will gravitate towards it and adopt it to replace her 5 shot SP-101. Then I'll be free to get that G30sf! 10 rounds in the slim frame Glock is good enough for me.

The writeup says it's 3mm shorter. I couldn't really tell that much difference between the two.

    AZ Husker,

When the 21sf came out, I gave it a look as the 21 is just too big in the grip for me to be comfortable.

This new 30sf "feels" like there's a bigger difference from the g30. Enough in the hand to make it viable for my average sized hand.

Thanks for the heads up on the 3mm difference between them. I had not seen that yet.

The price for the 30SF seems fair...$515 on the posted site.

I still like my G-36...only 6+1, but hey, I carry extra mags...I just really like the single stack grip...OMO

Congrats on that purchase though...good thing that we all have different tastes...or they would only sell one type of gun.

    30SF?

Nuthin like that 'round these parts...

I currently have the G30 and it shoots better than I can hold, but that grip is like holding a book.
