    Taken by suprise today.

I walked into my local gun shop to pick up ammo. I saw something that caught my eye. It was a SIG 225 P-6. It had been reconditioned and received a Dark earth duracoat treatment. It had made in W. Germany stamped on the slide. It was a German police trade in. I handled it and fell in love. The cost was $499. Did I do alright? All I need to do now is find extra magazines.

I dont believe you. You need to post pics when you brag about such things, otherwise you will get kicked off DC.com.

When I can figure out how to download pictures I will. Sixto are you serious? Well aim definitely has the better price. I always wanted a SIG but thought I couldn't afford it(at least a new one). I saw the chance and had to take it.

No, I'm not serious... but we do need some pictures if you want to post still.

    Heres another great deal...
SIG P6 (P225) 9mm caliber, semi auto pistol.

    I love my 225.

I sure like mine. Got it from AIM at around $300 including FFL, but it wasn't reconditioned like yours. Mine came with two magazines, and I picked up another one at a gun show recently for $40.

Have you taken it to the range yet? Mine runs flawlessly (so far...) and feels great in my smallish hands.

Nothing wrong with that in my book. It was obviously worth it to you, and you got it. I probably paid a bit more than I should have for a Smith Model 15 snubnose a week or so back; but it was the only one I was ever likely to see, so I bought it. I'm not disappointed, and I don't think you should be either. OMO, YMMV. Enjoy!

Keep in mind that the Sig you bought has been reconditioned to, I would imagine, "like new" mechanical condition and the Duracoat option isn't exactly free. The Aim guns may be cheaper but they aren't in the condition of the one you just bought. I'd say you made out just fine on the deal. Congratulations, enjoy your new Sig.

It a Sig from the classic P series and a model that until the German police trade ins showed up was pretty rare here in the U.S. It is a keeper and will only go up in value as time goes on.

I am debating on whether I want to buy one or a S&W 4053 from J&G sales.
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
