Pink gun?

Ok , My daughter is 19 and she has her own Rossi 38. She wants her permit when she turns 21 but she wants a pink gun. She likes revolvers and I'd really prefer to get her a Ruger, maybe a sp101, or a Smith, something better than the Rossi. I'd want her to try it out first anyway and decide for herself. What are my options on making atleast the handle pink? Or making the gun itself pink? I've done research and could'nt find anything on these guns as far as pink grips. I found Taurus has pink ones, but I want her to have a good solid gun and Taurus doesn't fit the bill for me.

Magnum Research offers a TCN finish that has a pink look to it. Also a very durable finish. I think they offer the baby eagle in this finish.

I'm nearly positive that COLLINS CRAFT will make Pink grips for you from Corian. Which is beautiful stuff.

Don't get Pink Ivory Wood grips because while they are a beautiful Pink when first made - they turn brown after a while.

I recommend checking out Jim's Gun Supply - Offering Custom DuraCoat Firearm Refinishing . They have a lot of options available, grips,whole gun pinked, or whatever. Am debating getting my fiance a Pink Glock 19. (yes, I know it is heresy, but you know how the female of our species is...)

you could always get her a j-frame and have it dura-coated pink or even pink camo. could do the same with a small semi-auto as well.

Regarding the SP101, there is a seller on eBay that makes custom inserts that go inside the rubber grip, but I don't see any listed.

Also, it looks like Hogue made some for S&W

Yeah this is the only other one I've found besides the Taurus. Not real crazy about the Charter Arms and it being only 12 oz it wont do her. She hates my 642 because it is so light. A pink Hogue Grip would suit me fine, but they dont make them.

I may be able to convince her to look at semi-autos, but I know my daughter and I worry about how clean she'll keep her gun. You should see her room.
She thinks cleaning a revolver is easier than a semi-auto. A revolver is simpler to use and she's all about simple. If she has to "hastle" with alot, she'll get to where she wont want to fool with it, thus stop carrying. The choice is ultimatly hers but so far it's a revolver.

This is perfect. I hate to think I'd have to narrow my choices of guns down to only pink ones. This is a great option.
