    3 Gun Carry

I just moved from the 2 Guns off duty Camp to the 3 Guns off duty Camp.

I've been carrying a GP100 with a 3" Barrel inside the waistband with a S&W 442 in my weakside pocket. Now I've got a 2.25" SP101 in an outside the waistband holster on my weakside to compliment the GP100. My 442 now rest in my pocket if I'm wearing shorts, or on my ankle if I'm not.

I got rid of my two Speedloaders on my Belt, as now my reload is another gun. Two of my guns are .357 Magnum and the third is a 38 Special. I think if I do carry a reload it will be in a Bianchi Speed Strip and it will be 38 Special. That way I can have ammo "interchangability" between all my guns.

Walking around the house with two of the guns at my waist, I have noticed one thing right away. The second gun at my waist serves to "balance me out' and I don't feel as lopsided. Maybe now I can stop paying for my Chiropractor's new swimming pool.

Take care all and stay safe.

No quicker reload than a second or third pistol or revolver ready to go. Evan Marshall the ex cop and gun writer always carries three. Clint Smith is fond of saying one is none, two is one, etc..
    God bless our troops!

Ooooh... you are well armed. Don't have to worry about failures. That's good.

Evan is the one that got me carrying three guns.

I like revolvers too, but I think I would find one big capacity auto and go with it, personally.

You are a mule if you can carry all that steel!

A Glock and a spare mag suit me, but the 642 tags along a lot! 3" GP100 is a great revolver. I really like mine!

I cant carry but one. Too old to carry all that weight. Thats why I retired the full size HK usp.45. Its too heavy.

One gun doesn't do you any good if your arm is occupied with deflecting a blade, BTDT.

That's why I like a gun accessable to either hand. I went with another gun instead of carrying a reload for the Primary. The reason I went with a Revolver is just because I like them and shoot them better than any autoloader I own. I'd carry one on duty if they let me, but I don't get a choice.

I've done two before, just because I could, one strong side, and the other cross draw. I've never really made that a habit, but it's an experience everyone ought to try at least once in my opinion. Dude--if you're carrying three-----kudos brotha--kudos! I wanna be just like you when I grow up.

If 2 is called a NY Reload, what is 3?

Man... three? A bit of an overkill, but if it makes you happy, go for it.

i'm planning on building my collection to carry 3 as well. i've got the xd .45 compact tactical as my primary, i'm currently saving for a sw 642, and then i'll be getting a NAA .22 mag mini-revolver for my weak-side pocket, with a kabar tdi riding on the hip above it. i'll be adding pepperspray to my arsenal as soon as i'm satisfied with a good choice. i'll have to make room for the surefire and cell phone on the belt as well.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe the "I'm in Gangland Detriot Reload"?
