Last week I purchased a Taurus Model 85 Ultra-Lite with a 2" barrel. The cost for the revolver was approx. $310.00. I liked the guns finish and feel of the rubber grips. Today was the first time feeding it a few rounds. The ammo used was American Eagle .38 Special 130 Grain FMJ. I sent my target down range 10 yards and fired 10 rounds SA AND 40 rounds DA. Fair to moderate recoil. Definately something that can be dealt with. Accuracy was much better SA than DA. 8" groups SA and 12" groups DA with a few flyers. This is my only revolver so it was nice today not to sweep up any brass. All in all a good trip to the range and I am happy with my purchase.
Interesting note. I also played with my Seecamp LWS.32 and fed it 30 rounds of WWB without one single problem. They are cheaper than the Winchester Silvertips so we will see what happens.
Nice choice. I just bought the wife one for self defense, she loves it. Its a good little compact gun.
