    SP101

Yes. It's a different design than the S&W and Taurus and floats freely.

Yes sir it is! They're very different than an S&W for example. Great revolvers in my opinion. I have the 3" and love it.
I'd recommed a replacement spring to lighten the trigger pull. They cost $8.00 on the internet and take 5 minutes or less to change. Anyone can do it and it lightens the double action pull quite a bit!

I had a 3" and sold it, after doing the $8 trigger job like Gideon did. Great revolvers, and you'll never wear it out.

That's a big YES, my 2" does it and I got it last Christmas.

I'll just echo what these guys have said. I bought my wife one and it has a rattle.

Not to go of topic, but my GP100 rattles, as well, and I've heard that this is common among Ruger revolvers.

I actually called Ruger, and asked about the shakey ejector rod.....perfectly normal.

Think of it like the rattle on a rattlesnake! Don't mess with me, it says.

Perfectly normal like what everyone else said before. Enjoy your SP101 and don't think another thought about it.

Wison Combat Custom Tune Spring Kit #349 for the Ruger SP101.

You can get them from Wilson or Brownell's.

On another note, Rusty, where did you get that Front Sight for you 2 1/4" SP101? Also, how accurate is it at 25 Yards, as that's where I sight in at. My fixed sight guns are "dialed in" to shoot my carry load at that distance.

My Carry Load is either Black Hills .357 Magnum 125 Grain JHP or Remington .357 Magnum 125 Grain SJHP.

    Thank you, Biker
