    Morphing

I now have two sets of Herrett 1911 grips. I put one set on my Springer GI but my wife said they didn't look right. I took the Herrett's and put them on one of my DWs and the grips from the DW and used them on the Springer. I like the results; what do you think? Regards, Richard

Well, since you're asking... I think the checkered grips are butt ugly... quality craftsmanship, but the look isn't there... The SA looks better with the DW grips... reminds me of government issue...

I like number three, but number four should be number one.

I meant number four needs to be the number one choice. I don't know if number four is number one in the number one pic, but the number four pic is the best IMO. :)

I like the looks of the Mil-spec with the wood grips however, I don't care for the checkered grips. On stainless wood can look good but it takes just the right color; black works good on stainless or some of these new grips that are laminates with a wave pattern called lizard. They look really good on stainless.

Those uber-ugly black pimple grips may be okay for a plastic gun but on a 1911 they are an abomination.

You really took some hits, hey.
I like them, the fancy grips make that one look like a barbecue gun.
