Send it back to S&W. That must be quite frustrating.

Mine's been flawless (.40). It's not my everyday carry. Use it for truck gun. But so far, it eats everything I feed it. No problems whatsoever.

You may have just got a bad apple.

Smith has excellent customer service. They should get you fixed up if you let them know there's a problem.

Sorry to hear about the problem you are having with your Sigma. FWIW, S&W will send you a preprinted label with the shipping paid along with instructions on how to ship your gun back to the factory.
    God bless our troops!

You can probably get a brand spankin new gun free by sending it back to Smith. Mine has actually been pretty decent and reliable.

Same here. My SW9VE is about 1.5 yrs. old and has had 2000+ rounds through it without a single malfunction.

S&W will make it right for you, I'm sure, one must have slipped by on the quality check line...

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Would that be the same Sigma you talked about in THIS THREAD that you paid $400 for and thought it was a M&P when you bought it?

I wouldn't be afraid to pick up a Sigma given the price and my experience with S&W customer service. I think they're pretty decent guns these days (especially once you get the trigger loosened up after a few rounds).

I was thinking about purchasing a Sigma .40 at the gun show the other week because of price and rebates. The more I held it the less I liked it. Just did not fit my hand at all. I do not like the Glocks or S&W. The XD's and Taurus Mill. feel great. Guess I am going to have to check out the Sigs next.
