    my new XD9 :)

I just picked her up today, i'm like a little kid on Christmas!

    SF XD-9 4" Bi-Tone Service model

    and with my Taurus PT-145

it fits into my Crossbreed Supertuck perfect too, so i don't need another IWB.
i can't wait to get out and put some rounds down range. stinking walmart was all out of 9mm. so i went to another local sporting goods store and picked up a box of CCI Blazer/50 for $11.99 and a box of hydra shocks/20 for $24.99 <-- but i had to have something in it just incase.

i'm waiting on my Serpa as it's going to be an OC gun aswell as a CC for me. until then, she lives in my CB

    Nice piece man!

The Springfield XD looks sweet in bi-tone. I used to have an XD9, but sold it. I will pick another one up in the future. It is on my "to buy again" list LOL!

    Good looking Duo...

    Don't forget the range report!
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

I love my xd's...have 9 and 45. They are so reliable and accurate, and the triggers makes them a joy to shoot...I seem to always lean toward the xd9 when I take a class. it has seen more classes than my 1911's...
Also, I have never had a failure with either of them...they just keep running.

Congrats! The XD was my first handgun so it definitely holds a special place in my heart (and my safe).

    Thumbs up

    Excellent choice! Enjoy!

Personally, I'd trade that Taurus for an XD 9mm sub-compact in a heartbeat.

Keep up the good work. I have an XD40sc and after a few issues initially it has been flawless for the last 500 rounds.

XD-9sc was my first gun as well. Before 2009 rolls around will have to put another one in the safe. Congratulations on your new gun, you will definitely enjoy it.

Thanks for all the good compliments! i'll get a range report ASAP. i wont be able to shoot it because of the weather around here lately and i've got a fishing trip this weekend with some friends.

i wore it out today and i think it may become my CC gun aswell as my OC gun. its very nice.

I'm not sure what i want to do with the Taurus. it's been good to me, but i may trade it off for a pistol for my Fiancee(she wants a pistol too!) i havnt decided yet.
