Thinking about a new pocket gun

I'm really leaning towards the kel-tec PF-9 at this point. Cheap and very light/thin/small.

Also on my list are the XD9-SC and the Glock 26.

What would you say would be the best choice and most bang for your buck?

Why no Kahr? I could not imagine putting an XD or Glock in my pocket. You must have MASSIVE pockets.

I'd say a Kahr PM9 since that's what I have and it works well in most pockets. I have a .32 Seecamp for back pocket carry. I'm considering selling off the PM9, though, and getting a smaller .380 for front pocket carry. Just not yet sure what .380.

What's wrong with the Ruger LCP? Great pocket/BUG, and only 12 ounces with a full magazine and one in the pipe.

Whenever I have to go to pocket carry, my Kahr PM-9 in a De Santis Nemesis holster serves me well.

Of your first three picks...I'd go with the G-26...it will outlive your great-grandchildren!

    It may be a bit bulky...how about a P-3AT?

None qualify as a pocket gun to me.

While I have the G26 and really like it a lot, it is a bit large for pocket carry. I would also recommend the Kahr PM9 as it is smaller and easier to pocket.

I pocket carry the LCP. Powerful little thing...

I've heard good things about the Kahr 9mm's.

All of your choices are a little to big for pocket carry IMO, but the best you have on the poll is the G26.
It were my money and pocket, I'd buy a Kahr PM9.

Of the 3 guns you listed, none are really a pocket gun. The smallest of the 3 is a PF-9, and that to me is too large to pocket carry.

If you are serious about pocket carry, you will need to look into the smaller 380"s (in a short period of time, there should be 3 to pick from)

If you want to carry a 9-mm, maybe you need to rethink your carry mode.

I pocket carry a Kel-Tec P32 and have the PF9. Great gun but too big for me to pocket carry. If your a big ol fellow I could see it maybe.

I carry the LCP. The 9's are just a little big. If i was to get one it would be the Kahr PM9

Just received my PM9 today and will be trying it out this weekend. I love the size of this gun and it will do well for pocket carry.

This thing was easy to break down quickly and re-assemble.

I can't imagine pocket carrying a Glock or an XD. Nice guns, but way too bulky.
