    I held one at my local gun store yesterday. It felt wonderful, and I think the looks are very nice! That's my opinion of course, but I also felt that it pointed very naturally, and this is from a true 1911 guy!

    what prices are you guys seeing on them? ive decided to put mine up for sale (its a good gun, its just not for me) and im unsure about where to price it. i had offered it up for $599 shipped but got no responses.

    Excellent writeup and pictures.

    Sorry to derail your thread a little bit, but the Montana permits have your SSN on them? It might as well say Montana Id Theft Quick Reference Guide on it. There's a reason you aren't supposed to carry your SSN card in your wallet. Crazy.

    im sad to see that it appears clint smith is also for sale. CLICK HERE. it was his boasting of the "short trigger reset" that makes me cry foul. the XD-M may very well prove to be a great weapon but it has a crappy trigger and the reset is loooooooong no matter what smith and leatham have to say. i scratch my head in amazement that they publish these statements when all anyone has to do is try the trigger for themselves to see how full of crap these claims are!
