Hi-Power!
Success at the gun show today! Found exactly what I was looking for. A pristine Browning Hi-Power. S/N shows it was made in '95, and it was sold as used, but appears like new, with original box and manuals. Labeled as made in Belgium, assembled in Portugal. Finish is perfect. I've been wanting a Hi-Power for some time, but the stars just haven't aligned for me, until today.
Can't wait to run some rounds through it. Fortunately, I picked up 500 rounds of 9mm last week at Cabela's. Now I have another excuse to buy some more gun leather, too!

You will LOVE it, I have two 9's and a 40. Although a little biased I think it is the best weapon ever made. You are hooked now. Good luck.
PS. I am also looking for a FN HP DA/SA Compact, if anyone has one that I can't refuse.

I have one I bought in 82 in Germany and will never get rid of. One of the best 9mm ever made in my opinion.

Just awesome.
That's a perfect guns show when you find just what you are looking for.
How often does THAT happen?

Congratulations,
Now your are hooked! I have a Browning clone, its the most accurate, naturally pointing pistol I have ever owned. I will be adding a Browning to the collection. In the mean time I am shooting this fabulous pistol. I am sure belts and holsters will follow. I have a Crossbreed Super tuck holster and just received a belt from Crossbreed. The holster and belt are outstanding. I have also added a Comp-Tac paddle holster for the Hi-Power. I am looking forward to a range report. Shoot safe.

Good choice. I love mine. I bought it new in 1966. It has never, ever caused me a problem. More reliable than my ex-wife.

Nice find! Hi-powers are great pistols. If I didn't have hands like a gorilla I would probably still own one. Congratulations, and enjoy!

That's a terrific pistol. I had one once upon a time and am so sorry I let it get away. It will last a lifetime and give flawless service.

Very nice and at a fantastic price. You'll be more than happy with your new purchase. BHP's seem to multiply I've found out in my gun safe.......
Plenty of quality holsters to choose from also. Welcome to the club.

I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I have wanted a 9mm, and being a single-action kind of guy, the BHP has long been an object of my desire. To find one in such good condition, and to make a cash deal for such a good price, is just grand. It's been a real gap in my arsenal.
This is why I love a good gun show. You just never know what you're going to run across. At another table I found a 15-round mag for 15 bucks. Also got a new gun belt, a couple of storage socks, some snap caps and looked at some new gun safes. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning.
Cheers,
Rod

Glock 19/FEG/FM HiPowers/Keltec P32 for me. When I can't use my 870,N98 or Marlin .30-30 of course...
