    Looking for more compact gun

I was trying to find a more concealable pistol than my 4" XD40. Any thoughts? Am wanting to stay in .40(already have the ammo),maybe something with a single stack mag.

If you like the XD, why not get another... your familiar with the trigger and how they feel...

    maybe a XD 40sc?

I picked up the M&P .40, liked the way it felt, did not like the $500 plus price tag. I have to admit, I did not think about a sub-compact XD.

Kahr K40 or T40 are both very compact, single stack all steel pistols. Go polymer for a little lighter weight.

Kimber Ultra or Glock-36...either would work!

Not sure what your budget is but if you can swing it why not a SA EMP in .40 Springfield Armory I know this is on my wish list.

ditto the Sig 239 / 40 cal. I really love mine (S/A-D/A). Some day I will get the .357 sig barrel - then more ammo...there's NO END TO THIS MADNESS!!!!!!!!!

Saw CW40 going for $350ish at the gun show this weekend in South Texas. I just went a step further down in order to carry more often and picked up a LCP. I started my concealed guns with a XD full size, traded for a SC, still too big, so I added a CW9, then a .38snub, and I sold the snub this weekend for the LCP.

I keep the CW9 and the XDsc because they are the guns I will throw on when I am going out, and I love them both. When I am in shorts and dton't want to gear up, I will have something bigger than a pocket knife now. The LCP is tiny, and just enough calibre I think to do enough damage to others in summer clothing.
