Nice looking pistol. You might want to size the pic down a bit, but I would say you made a good choice.
Let us know how it does at the range.
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.
Who is John Galt?
Very nice. Have you had a chance to shoot it yet?
man that is nice...if it shoots like my ultra carry...you will love it.

Excellent choice. A Kimber Ultra is my EDC.

I notice in your pictures you are showing Hornady and Gold Dots.. are the Gold Dots the 200 gr +P or the 230 gr. Short Barrel?
I also own a Kimber Ultra CDP II. I have shot the Hornady's and the +P along with Winchester Silver Tips.. Let us know how your new gun shoots and maybe what ammo you have settled down with.
Best to you!
Tis a good looking weapon for sure!
You'll have to give us a range report once you have a chance to shoot 'er!

I don't like +P ammo for 45acp for the little gain it isnt worth the stress on the aluminum frame. The gold dots are 185 grn the TAP is 200 regular pressure. Once my wilson mags and wolff springs get here i will let you know how it shoots.
I love mine. I bought it used and had feeding issues with it. After sending it in to Kimber for warranty service, which they honored despite it being used, it came back and has shot very well so far through 250 rounds. They replaced the slide and did some polishwork. I was very pleased with the service.
The only thing I wish they would have added to this gun at its creation is a tactical light rail into the frame. I man, it sorta makes sense, since it has "Tactical" in its name.
