I personally haven't shot the 26 yet, but will be curious to see how it compares. The 26 is shorter in both length and height over the G19.

I'll keep you posted after we shoot it. :)

    Thanks for everyone's feedback here.

That makes me all happy and teary-eyed. Another happy gun owner with an excellent pistol.

The 26 is great. I have one along side my 19. The 19 stays at home more often, while the 26 gets go everywhere.

    Congrats!

Anyway, the used G26 was $120 cheaper and they threw in a second mag (12 cartridge) for free, plus gave me an additional 5% off cause I was wearing my Fire Department shirt. He saw my shirt and asked if I worked for the Fire Department. I stated I did. He said, "do you have ID? If so, I'll knock 5% off for you". I produced my ID and we quickly became the proud owners of a beautiful generation 3 G26, plus saved a bunch of cash!

Later this week I'll be ordering my Smart Carry, plus an MTAC and a new belt from Looper Law Enforcement.

We are hitting the range this weekend, so I'll report back how it shoots.
FYI: You can get law enforcement prices with your Fire ID at Neve's Uniform & Equipment.

$ 399.95 for the Glock 26 with fixed sights.

I have some advice for you. Don't buy a G30 two weeks after you buy the G26. It'll be 2 months before you even touch the G26, again.

Seriously...I love my G26 and I carry it when I'm wearing a t-shirt, in an RM Low Rider holster. I hardly notice that it's there, but I know it's plenty capable of getting the job done.

I really liked my Glock 26...but found I liked my G30 more (and my G36 even more than that!).

I traded it in last year for my G34, got $475 for it. If one popped up for an excellent price, I can't say I wouldn't pick one up again...but it would definitely be one of the first to go when I needed trading fodder.

Congrats on the G26, I bought one not too long ago and am pleased with it. In fact last time I went to the range, I found myself shooting the 26 better than the 19 I was getting 1-2" groups @ 10 yards with the 19, but was able to shoot one big ragged hole and proceed to shoot through the same hole with the 26.

While I’ve only had mine for about six months, I love it; Carried it today.

Just ordered my MTAC for the 26 today and a Smart Carry for my 19. I also ordered a reinforced belt from 5.11 Tactical Series. Can't wait for the goodies to show up so I can start carrying around the house and preparing while I wait for my CCW application to complete.

We will be shooting it for the first time this weekend too.

Shot about 300 rounds between our G19 and the G26. I like how much smaller the G26 seems, but I really like the way my G19 shoots.

For our first time shooting, I was a little more accurate with my 19 than the 26, but I'm sure it just will take some practice.

I have ordered holsters for both so I once my CCW gets here, I will have the option for both. :)

Great, great choice! I love the G19, but I think an argement can be made that the G26 is the best of the entire Glock line.
