    Just picked up a G26

Hello all. Just picked up a "new" G26 to go along with our G19. We were going to buy a new G26 from Gander Mountain, list $549.00, but when we got over there my wife noticed a G26 in the "used" case. Funny, cause I asked if they had any used G26's before coming over and they said no.

Anyway, the used G26 was $120 cheaper and they threw in a second mag (12 cartridge) for free, plus gave me an additional 5% off cause I was wearing my Fire Department shirt. He saw my shirt and asked if I worked for the Fire Department. I stated I did. He said, "do you have ID? If so, I'll knock 5% off for you". I produced my ID and we quickly became the proud owners of a beautiful generation 3 G26, plus saved a bunch of cash!

Later this week I'll be ordering my Smart Carry, plus an MTAC and a new belt from Looper Law Enforcement.

We are hitting the range this weekend, so I'll report back how it shoots.

Nice gun. Less recoil than the 27. I think you will like it. I carry mine in an MTAC also. Very comfy.

I have seen new Glock prices ranging from $475 - $550 for the same gun...different dealers. Just depends on where you shop.

Just got back from the range earlier today... where I had a lot of fun shooting my Glock 26 and 19. I've gotten quite good with the Glock 26... today I was putting together some very good groupings at 45 feet.

The G26 compares quite well with the G19... I shoot both yesterday at 45 feet... I can shoot the G19 a little better than the G26, but the difference is only an inch or two at that distance.

I love my G26, However, I sold my G19 and replaced it with a G17, i couldn't see having nearly the same sized gun.
